Dolinda de Proost

Chairwoman

Dolinda has worked at AOMB Intellectual property since 1990. In her role as Manager IP Support she is responsible for all Paralegals, Formalities Officers and secretaries employed at AOMB. She is one of the founders of the Dutch Platform Formalities Officers and she is one of the founders of EPIPA. Dolinda is also a member of the EPO SACEPO – Working Party on e-Patent Process.

Anne Taucher

Secretary

Anne Taucher is a Quality Partner at AWA Norway and has worked with intellectual property since 1996. Anne is one of the founders and board member of the Norwegian Association of Intellectual Property Administrators (NAIPA), and she is one of the founders of EPIPA. Anne is a member of the EPAC Board.

Birgitte Helleshøj

Treasurer

Birgitte Helleshøj has been working as an IP administrator since 1993, in both IP firms and in Corporate IP. Currently she’s part of the patent team at Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S. Birgitte is one of the founders and board member of the Danish Association of Intellectual Property Administrators (DAIPA), and she is one of the founders of EPIPA.

Gunn-Tove Bjerke-Selmer

Board member

Gunn-Tove is a Design Attorney at AWA Norway and has worked with intellectual property since 1999. She participated in and passed the EUIPO Trade Mark and Design Education Programme for Paralegals 2021/2022. She is the chairwoman of the Norwegian Association of Intellectual Property Administrators (NAIPA), and she is one of the founders of EPIPA.

Ronald van Egmond

Board member

Ronald van Egmond has worked at V.O. since 1985. For more than 20 years, he worked in the administration department in the various administrative roles, finally that of head of the department. Since 2008 he has been a Senior Advisor Business Support at V.O., advising new and existing clients regarding Intellectual Property. He is one of the founders of the Dutch Platform Formalities Officers and he is one of the founders of EPIPA. Ronald is a member of the EPAC Board.

Vicky Maynard

Board member

As a Patent Team Leader at Marks & Clerk LLP with nearly two decades of IP experience, Vicky is responsible for providing administrative support to fee earners and for overseeing the electronic workflows of her team, ensuring workflows are correctly maintained and tasks are properly allocated. These responsibilities include providing assistance with case management and patent formalities, in order to ensure that patent applications and official actions are responded to within the statutory timescales, and troubleshooting any issues in relation to the patent process to ensure all activities are completed to time and quality standards. Vicky works very closely with the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) as a member of the Education and Professional Standards Committee, is the Vice Chair of the CIPA Patent Administrators’ Committee, is the Lead Course Tutor and an Examiner for the UK Patent Administrators Certificate qualification and is an EPO Nominated Member of the newly established European Patent Administrator Certificate Board. She is also a part qualified Trade Mark attorney. Vicky is a member of the EPAC Board.

Camilla Udd

Board member

Camilla was introduced to the field of intellectual property rights in 2006 when she started working at the Icelandic Intellectual Property Office in Reykjavik. Her career has been within IP rights ever since and she currently works as a Brand Protection Specialist in the area of trademark and design protection at Roschier Brands, Attorneys in Helsinki. She is the chairwoman and one of the founders of the Finnish Association of IP Administrators. Camilla has also been a paralegal representative in the Advisory Committee for the EUIPO Trademark and Design Education Programme.

Essi Kirves

Board member

Essi has been working in the industry for more than two decades and has experience from several different Finnish IP firms. Since 2018 she has worked as an IP Specialist at Leitzinger Oy. She is one of the founders and the vice-chairwoman of the Finnish Association of IP Administrators.

Annemarie Parsons

Board member

Annemarie Parsons currently works for Murgitroyd and was appointed Deputy Head of Patent Paralegals in July 2020. Annemarie is a highly skilled paralegal with over 25 years of experience. Annemarie is the Chair of the CIPA IP Paralegal Committee, having been appointed in January 2023, and has been a lead course tutor for the official paralegal qualification of the UK registered patent profession. She currently examines the final examination paper and is involved in the development of the highly anticipated advanced examination. Annemarie manages patent and design portfolios, liaising closely with attorneys, as well as managing co-ordination with outside counsel, patent offices and clients to ensure that clients’ IP prosecution needs are implemented in an accurate and timely manner. Her responsibilities also include preparing and delivering training and training materials for paralegals, and the standardisation of work in the Patent Paralegal department, assisting the paralegal support team to ensure that the day-to-day workload and demand is effectively and efficiently processed. Annemarie also assists in the career development and continuing professional development of paralegals. She is experienced in the onboarding of new clients and the acquisition of offices.

Beinta V. Djurhuus

Board member

Beinta V. Djurhuus is working as Head of IP Administration in Group IP at the medical device company Coloplast A/S. Beinta has been a member of the Danish Association of Intellectual Property Administrators since 2021. Beinta passed as a Danish Qualified Intellectual Property Administrator in 2016. Recently, Beinta passed the Executive CBA course in Digital Leadership & Transformation.

Maud Verheyleweghen

Board member

Maud began her professional career in 1998 as a Paralegal at Kirkpatrick, where she was handling the patent- and supplementary protection certificate files (SPC). In 2004, she joined the technology-transfer company of the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL/Sopartec), where she was responsible for the administration of the University’s patent portfolio, before joining the firm Abyoo in 2008, first as a paralegal, and then as Office Manager from 2016 to 2023. In September 2023, she choose to strengthen the team of paralegals at De Clercq and Partners. Maud passed the European Patent Administrator Certificate of the European Patent Office (EPAC) in 2022.
