The European Patent Academy again offers a free webinar series for EPAC candidates.

Support for candidates is provided in a series of online seminars with one module scheduled per month.

Each module starts with a self-study phase of approximately two weeks, followed by a first online session during which EPO tutors will present the key takeaways from the training material and answer points raised in the forum. A second online session will focus on participants' questions. At the end of the month, candidates will be invited to perform a self-evaluation of their understanding of the module under discussion.

The EPAC exam 2024 will take place on 10 October 2024.

According to the EPAC homepage, candidates must request to create their personal profile on the EPAC portal. This requires verification of identity by providing a valid passport or national identity card. To be able to enrol in EPAC 2024, this first step must be completed by 5 August 2024.

Enrolment for the EPAC 2024 will open on 16 April 2024 until 12 August 2024 for candidates who have completed the first step. The candidate’s request for enrolment and payment of prescribed fees must be received by 12 August 2024.

This year’s conference will take place at Hyatt Regency Birmingham. The conference will be followed by a drink reception, where you can mingle with your colleagues and chat with our speakers and committee members.
