BELAIPA (the Belgian Association for Intellectual Property Administrators) presented its application for full membership shortly before our board meeting at the end of November. The application was unanimously approved.
Six national organizations (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, and the United Kingdom) are now united in the European Platform of Intellectual Property Administrators EPIPA.
Thus, around 1500 IP administrators are now linked and joining forces to raise awareness and secure the education and qualification of the IP administrators. EPIPA will continue to assist and support more IP professionals to set up national organizations and join The European Platform.
2023 has been a very eventful year for EPIPA, and we are very proud of the achievements we have made together and of our continued growth.
As we are approaching the end of the year and looking into 2024, we are receiving lots of exciting and interesting communications which we are looking forward to sharing with you (once we have had the chance to process it all) – so watch this space for more!
