WIPO granted EPIPA “Observer” status

At the end of last year, EPIPA applied for observer status at the WIPO. We are thrilled to announce that our request was approved by the WIPO Assemblies at their meetings held at WIPO headquarters in Geneva, from 9 until 17 July 2024.

EPIPA is now included in the list of international non-governmental organizations that are invited to attend the meetings of Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO and of the Unions administered by the WIPO, as an observer.

Moreover, EPIPA will also be invited to attend, as an observer, the meetings of the Standing Committees and other committees of WIPO if their subject matter appears to be of direct interest to EPIPA’s members.

As an observer, EPIPA will be invited to meetings and will be allowed to request the floor.

We are thankful that they offer us an opportunity to present our views and concerns and thereby contribute to the user-friendliness of WIPO’s systems.
